Loomis Announces Aquisition of Metcalfe & Sanders Land Surveyors

Loomis Partners is pleased to announce the acquisition of one of the oldest and most respected land surveying firms in central Texas: Metcalfe and Sanders, Inc. Serving the Austin area since 1904, the firm has broad experience in all aspects of surveying for residential, commercial and industrial sites.

Metcalfe and Sanders owner and president George Sanders is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor and a University of Texas graduate with a BBA degree, and will assume the role of Senior Project Manager for the Loomis Partners Survey Depart-
ment. He has served on the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Texas Society of Professional Land Surveyors (now known as the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors) since 1987 and served one year as president. He is also a member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors, and served two years as president of the Austin chapter of the Texas Surveyors Association. George currently serves as chairman of the Cutoff Scores of the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying.
